Vikas Fhatak, known as Hindustani Bhau, was arrested by Mumbai Police on 31 January 2025 for allegedly instigating Class 10 and 12 students in Dharavi to protest against the conduct of offline board exams. An FIR was filed against him following a video uploaded on 24 January where he threatened to take the streets with lakhs of students if exam demands were not met, claiming the government urged people to stay indoors while forcing offline exams.
