Latest News about Adam Driver
Adam Driver confirmed he will play the villain Otis Wardell in Michael Mann's long-awaited sequel Heat 2. He described the screenplay as a strong script and said he expects to join production in early December 2026, with filming planned for early 2027.
In a Rich Eisen Show interview, Driver said he is finished with Kylo Ren and the Star Wars franchise. He addressed the failed Steven Soderbergh project The Hunt for Ben Solo, which was dropped by Disney, saying it is not his call to revive it.
James Gray's Paper Tiger, starring Driver alongside Scarlett Johansson and Miles Teller, premiered in competition at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. The film received a lengthy standing ovation and was later chosen as the opening film of the 2026 New York Film Festival.
