Latest News about Brandon King
04/08/2026
Brandon King picked up a lower-back injury during the second Test against Pakistan at Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain, shortly after running out Pakistan captain Babar Azam. Cricket West Indies later diagnosed lower-back muscle spasms and ruled him out of the rest of the match as a precaution. The top-order batter was therefore unavailable to bat or field for the remainder of that Test.
17/07/2026
King was included in the West Indies squad for the remaining ODIs against New Zealand, which came as the team looked to strengthen its position in the World Cup qualification race. His selection followed a period of form in limited-overs cricket for the side.
