Latest News about Christian Barmore
Reports said the Patriots have made Christian Barmore available in potential trades ahead of the NFL trade deadline. The move followed a reduced role for the veteran defensive tackle, who had fallen behind Milton Williams and Cory Durden in the rotation and played well under half of the defensive snaps. Barmore is in the final stretch of his four-year contract extension signed in 2024.
Barmore was charged with misdemeanor domestic assault in Massachusetts over an alleged August 2025 incident, and his arraignment was scheduled for February 3, 2026. The Patriots said they had been informed of the incident at the time and had notified the NFL. Later reports indicated prosecutors planned to drop the charge.
