Latest News about Kristaps Porzingis
Porzingis remains out indefinitely with an undisclosed health issue that has kept him away from the Golden State Warriors for most of preseason. He met with team medical and front-office staff at the Warriors' facility, but no return date has been set. He said on social media that he is working with doctors to get fully healthy.
Porzingis re-signed with the Golden State Warriors on a two-year contract reported at about $40 million. The deal kept him with the team he joined earlier in 2026.
The Golden State Warriors acquired Porzingis from the Atlanta Hawks in a trade at the February deadline, with Buddy Hield and Jonathan Kuminga going to Atlanta. He appeared in 32 games for Golden State during the 2025-26 season, averaging 16.7 points and 5.2 rebounds.
