1. Dharampal Singh was born and raised in Guldiya Gaurishankar village of Bareilly district, Uttar Pradesh.
2. Before entering politics, Singh was associated with agriculture and teaching.
3. He studied at Bareilly Rohilkhand University, Bareilly and obtained postgraduate and professional qualifications including a Bachelor’s degree in Law, a Master’s degree in Arts, a Bachelor’s of Education and a Basic training certificate (BTC).
4. In 1988, Dharampal joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at grassroots and became the block pramukh of Majhgawan block.
