| 2. He graduated from medical college, Hubli, Karnataka and did postgraduate honours at Karnataka University, Dharwad. |
| 3. He acquired his clinical skills from Karnataka Institute of Mental Health, Dharwad and refined them under psychiatrist Dr B M Debsikdar at Miraj. |
| 4. Established a small practice in his own house, treating patients day and night. |
| 5. Involved in educating people about mental health issues and the associated stigma. |
| 6. Conducted counselling programs in schools and colleges, mental health camps, and awareness seminars for teachers. |
| 7. Expanded his practice to include student guidance, parental counselling, premarital and marital counselling, and de-addiction services. |
| 8. His wife Anupama Pandurangi was a psychologist and their son Aditya became a psychiatrist. |
