A coroner leading the inquest into Sara Sharif's death ordered Surrey County Council to disclose more than 24,000 pages of documents. The inquest, which had already been delayed, was pushed back further to October 2027 as the coroner said he needed the records to fully understand the circumstances of the case.

Beinash Batool, who was convicted of murdering Sara Sharif, asked for the inquest into Sara's death to be held before a jury. She also said she wanted to give evidence, and the hearing was reported as not due to take place until April 2027.
