Swift rushed 22 times for 78 yards and a touchdown as the Bears beat the New England Patriots 30-24 on Thursday night. With Kyle Monangai sidelined, he carried a heavy workload and reached seven rushing touchdowns on the season.
The Bears officially announced a three-year, $33.75 million contract extension with Swift, which includes $27.5 million in guaranteed money. The deal means his 2026 season will not be a contract year.
During the offseason, Swift addressed uncertainty about his future with the Bears while saying he hoped to remain in Chicago. The discussion came amid salary-cap concerns and speculation that the team could make roster changes before the 2026 season.
