Biography	Hasan Mahmud was born in Lakshmipur, Chattogram, Bangladesh. He was raised in a middle-class farmer’s family. He made his first-class debut for Chittagong Division in the 2017–18 National Cricket League and was selected for Bangladesh’s squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. His progress was initially hampered by injuries but he made significant contributions to the national team, including becoming the first Bangladeshi cricketer to take five wickets in international cricket.
