Lance Armstrong

Armstrong and his wife, Anna Hansen, marked October 2 by celebrating the 30th anniversary of his testicular cancer diagnosis and his continued good health. The couple shared the message on social media, noting that they have been married for four years.

NBC confirmed that Armstrong will return for a third year as part of its US Tour de France coverage through Peacock's post-stage show The Move. He remains barred from sanctioned cycling events, but the show keeps him involved in the race for American viewers.

Apple acquired a feature film about Armstrong after a competitive auction among studios and streamers. The project is directed by Edward Berger, with Austin Butler cast to play the cyclist and Scott Stuber producing.

Lance Armstrong appeared in a social media advertisement for Athletic Brewing Company, filmed at his home and featuring framed Tour de France yellow jerseys. The campaign drew attention because it prominently referenced his stripped Tour victories while promoting a non-alcoholic beer brand.

Armstrong said on a podcast that he believes his seven Tour de France titles could one day be reinstated. His remarks revived discussion about the legacy of his results, which were annulled after doping violations.
