Latest News about Carter Hart
Carter Hart was a central figure as the Vegas Golden Knights reached the 2026 Stanley Cup Final, with the Game 4 series contest played at T-Mobile Arena. His strong postseason, including a 14-8 playoff record, helped secure his position as Vegas's No. 1 goaltender heading into the 2026-27 season.
Hart signed a two-year, $4 million contract with the Vegas Golden Knights after joining the organization on a professional tryout agreement. The deal marked his return to NHL play after time away from the league following the Hockey Canada sexual assault case.
Hart and four other former members of Canada's 2018 world junior team were acquitted of sexual assault charges in Ontario Superior Court. The verdict ended the criminal case that had kept Hart out of the NHL, although league and federation restrictions remained relevant after the trial.
