Mike Schmitz

Fr. Mike Schmitz and Franciscan University of Steubenville President Fr. Dave Pivonka launched a seven-day prayer challenge called Rebuild My Church on the Hallow app. The series ran from 5 to 11 October 2026 and drew nearly 60,000 sign-ups before launch. It introduces listeners to seven witnesses whom God has used to renew the Church.

Fr. Mike Schmitz released his second full-length Ascension trade book, Face to Face: Preparing to Meet God Through the Four Last Things. The book encourages Catholics to think about how their present choices shape their path toward eternity. It follows his earlier bestselling title, Unshakeable.

Ascension announced that his Parables tour would stop at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on 16 November 2026. The tour follows his teaching on the parables of Jesus and has already reached more than 20 U.S. cities and Ireland. Other fall 2026 dates include Chicago and St. Paul, Minnesota.

Fr. Mike Schmitz concluded a European leg of his Parables tour in Dublin, Ireland, where a sold-out event at the National Stadium drew about 1,600 attendees, mostly young adults. The evening followed a Mass at Saint Kevin's Church that filled to capacity with 800 people.
