Edappadi Karuppa Palaniswami, popularly known as EPS, is an Indian politician and a top-tier leader of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK).
He served as the 7th Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu from 2017 to 2021.
He is the current General Secretary of AIADMK since 28 March 2023.
He is known as 'Jaggery Palaniswami' due to his involvement in jaggery trading before entering politics.
