Eduardo Celmi Camavinga is a French professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Real Madrid, occasionally deployed as a left back. Born in a refugee camp in Cabinda, Angola to Congolese refugee parents, he moved to France at age two and became a French citizen in 2019. He began his professional career with Stade Rennais at age 16, becoming the club's youngest-ever player, and transferred to Real Madrid in 2021 for €31 million. He made his senior debut for France in 2020 at age 17, becoming the nation's youngest debutant in over a century.
