Schwarzenegger criticized California redistricting efforts during a USC International Day of Democracy event, arguing that the proposal did not make sense. He framed the issue as part of a broader concern about democratic reform and partisan map-drawing.
Schwarzenegger announced a major donation to support relief efforts for the Los Angeles wildfires. He said he would contribute about one million euros of his own money to three charities helping with recovery and emergency response.
