Ramesh Chandra Sen was born in Mondaladum village in the then Bengal Province, British India, now Bangladesh.
He fell ill while in custody at Dinajpur District Jail on the morning of 7 February 2026 and was pronounced dead around 9:30 am at Dinajpur Medical College Hospital.
