In 2012, she contested in the Patna University Students’ Union election under AISA and achieved a second-place finish. Worked as an assistant professor at Patna Women’s College for 3.5 years. Cleared the 64th Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) exam in 2018, appointed as Supply Inspector in the Bihar government but resigned to pursue social work.
