Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh died in Tehran on 2 March 2026 after sustaining fatal injuries in joint US-Israeli airstrikes during the Iran conflict. She had been in a coma since the attack on 28 February 2026, which also killed her husband Ali Khamenei, his daughter-in-law, and granddaughter. Iran's state broadcaster Press TV officially declared her death as 'martyrdom' resulting from the coordinated military strike.
