1. Natarajan's family faces financial struggles with his father working as a porter and his mother operating a snack stall. He is the eldest among three sisters and always felt the responsibility to support his family. Natarajan discovered his talent as a bowler during a casual game of tennis-ball cricket in his village. Encouraged by a local mentor, he moved to Chennai to pursue competitive cricket and joined a cricket club. He gained recognition while playing for BSNL in the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association's fourth division league before moving to Vijay Cricket Club and then Jolly Rovers. Despite an early setback due to a suspect action, former players helped Natarajan correct his bowling technique during his Ranji debut in 2015. His career took off in 2016 when he played for Dindigul Dragons in the TNPL. Natarajan's rise from humble beginnings culminated in his selection by Kings XI Punjab for INR 3 crore in 2007. Anand Mahindra, a prominent industrialist, gifted Natarajan a Mahindra Thar SUV in April 2021, prompting Natarajan to reciprocate with his signed Gabba Test jersey.
