| N. Santhanam is an Indian film actor and producer who mainly works in Tamil cinema. He began his career as a comedian on television and rose to fame through his performances in STAR Vijay's Lollu Sabha, where he enacted lead roles in spoofs of Tamil films. He was given a supporting role in Manmadhan (2004) by actor Silambarasan and subsequently appeared in numerous films, earning critical acclaim for his work in Sachien (2005) and Polladhavan (2007). As of 2012, he was recognized as the most popular comedian working in Tamil cinema. He has since established his own film production company, Handmade Films. |
