Latest News about Rusev
Rusev's absence from WWE television was linked to a neck and arm numbness issue that followed his loss to Je'Von Evans on the 27/07/2026 episode of Raw. His wife CJ Perry said he had been checked out backstage and had since been cleared to return to the ring. He was expected back on WWE TV soon after.
Rusev returned to WWE on the April 21, 2025 episode of Monday Night Raw (Raw After Mania) on Netflix at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, marking his first appearance since leaving the company in 2020. During a promo segment between The New Day and Alpha Academy, he made a surprise entrance and attacked Alpha Academy members Akira Tozawa and Otis, putting Otis in his finishing move The Accolade to signal his re-establishment as a WWE Superstar on the Raw brand.
