| Career Journey | - On 19 August 1990, he started his career as an IPS Officer.
- Throughout his career, he has held numerous significant positions. Some of the notable roles he has undertaken include serving as the Commandant in Tamil Nadu Special Police II Battalion located in Avadi.
- He also held the position of Superintendent of Police (SP) in the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board situated in Chennai. Additionally, he served as the SP in Thiruvallur district.
- Afterward, he progressed in his career and assumed the responsibilities of Inspector General of Police (IGP) in the Coastal Security Group in Tamil Nadu. He further served as the IGP of Police for the South Zone in Tamil Nadu.
- Later on, he was appointed as the Commissioner of Police for the Chennai Suburban Police. Furthermore, he held the position of Inspector General of Police in the Coastal Security Group in Tamil Nadu once again.
- In 2017, he attained the rank of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) and was assigned the role of SJ & HR (Social Justice and Human Rights).
- Later, in 2020, he was appointed as the Director General of Police (DGP) in charge of Enforcement. Subsequently, in 2021, he held the position of Special Director General of Tamil Nadu Police, specifically overseeing Law and Order.
- He began as an ASP in Thoothukudi and worked as an SP in Thoothukudi, Theni, and Tiruvallur districts.
- He served as the Chennai Suburban Commissioner and as an Additional Commissioner in Tenchennai.
