1. Omprakash embarked on his political career in 1981, drawing motivation from Kashiram before becoming a member of the Bahujan Samaj Party.
2. He opposed the party's decision to rename Bhadohi district as Santarvidas Nagar, leading him to depart from the party in 2001.
3. During his protest for the removal of the Ghazipur District Magistrate, Omprakash Rajbhar staged a hunger strike that continued indefinitely.
4. Before entering full-fledged politics, he worked as an auto-rickshaw driver in Varanasi for two-and-a-half years between 1981-1983 to support his studies and family.
