3. He served as a BJP MLA representing the Noorpur constituency in Bijnore, Uttar Pradesh.
4. Tragically, on 21 February 2018, Lokendra Singh lost his life in a road accident in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, while en route to an Investors Meet in Lucknow.
5. The BJP legislator was en route to attend a summit inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Lucknow.
6. Reports indicate that Singh's speeding Fortuner car collided head-on with a truck near Sitapur.
7. The accident claimed Lokendra Singh's life, as well as that of his driver and two security personnel, identified as Brijesh Mishra, 28, and Deepak Kumar, 30.
8. Following Lokendra Singh's death, condolences poured in from various quarters, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh.
9. His personal assistant Tarun Singh and driver Sachin Chauhan also died in the crash.
